Obectives
To provide an opportunity for players to
participate in a safe, sportsmanlike
environment, without any emphasis
on scores or stats.
To ensure parents and families have an
enjoyable experience at the inline arenas.
To have FUN!
Principles
The Fun First program is a Team Award
program for all teams in the House League.
It is a partnership between players, coaches,
officials, and league convenors.
Teams are awarded points after each game
or competition by coaches, referees, and convenors.
Points are awarded on the following principles:
- Respect the Rules of Inline Hockey
- Respect the Officials and their decisions
- Respect your Opponents
- Ensure equal opportunity for all participants
- Maintain self control at all times
Awarding of Points
- Coaches will rate the Opposing Team.
- Coaches will rate the Officials.
- Officials will rate the Teams.
- Covenors will rate Teams and Officials
Total points collected will be averaged
and recorded to establish prize winners
at predetermined time frames.

Fair Play Program
The intention of this program is to
develop guidelines and interventions to make the game of
hockey as positive an experience as possible, for all
participants
We intend to keep the game fun and discourage to the best
of our ability:
- lack of respect for opponents
- verbal abuse of officials
- inappropriate spectator behavior
- any violent behaviour
- the win at all costs attitude
- pressure on player or officials
Individuals are considered to be displaying
unacceptable behaviour if they are verbally or
physically harassing and/or abusing a game
participant.
Fair play does not change any rules of
the game, it encourages all players on
all teams to be a s competitive as
possible within the rules.
It is a privilege to play hockey and a right to
be treated with fairness and respect.
